Privacy Policy

Effective October 27, 2026

  • Hemeric Day collects nothing. I never see your tasks, lists, or anything else you put in the app.
  • There’s no account, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking, and the app contains no third-party code that does any of those.
  • Your data stays on your devices and in your own private iCloud storage, which only you can access.

Who this covers

This policy covers the Hemeric Day app for iPhone and iPad, its widgets, and this website. Hemeric Day is made by Fabian Hernandez, an independent developer. “I” and “me” below mean the developer.

What the app keeps, and where

Hemeric Day keeps what you put in it: your tasks and their notes, subtasks, times, repeats, and tags; your areas, projects, and headings; your shopping lists and items; places you save for reminders; and your settings.

All of this is stored on your device. When you’re signed in to iCloud, it’s also kept in your iCloud account’s private database through Apple’s CloudKit, so your iPhone and iPad stay in sync. That private database belongs to your Apple Account. I can’t read it, and it isn’t sent to any server of mine; there isn’t one. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Sentences you type, like “dentist next Tuesday at 2pm”, are understood on your device. They aren’t sent anywhere to be read.

Permissions

Each permission is optional and asked for only when you first use the feature that needs it. You can change any of them later in the Settings app.

  • Notifications. Used for reminders at a task’s time, as its part of the day starts, or when you arrive at a saved place. They’re scheduled on your device.
  • Location (while using the app). Used only so iOS can tell the app when you arrive at a store or place you saved, to remind you of a task or the items you flagged. The app doesn’t track where you go or keep a history of your location. The places you save (a name, address, and position on the map) are kept with your other data. When you search for a place, the search is handled by Apple Maps.
  • Calendars (read only). If you turn on Calendar Events, the app reads today’s events to show them next to your tasks. Events aren’t copied, stored, or changed.
  • Reminders (read only). Used only when you choose Import from Reminders. The app copies your open reminders into Hemeric Day once. Nothing in Reminders is changed.

Siri, Spotlight, widgets, and the Lock Screen

You can add and check tasks with Siri and Shortcuts, find them in Spotlight, and see them in widgets and on the Lock Screen while you shop. These features work on your device through iOS. Requests you make to Siri are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.

When you contact me

If you email support, I receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply to you. I don’t share them with anyone, and I’ll delete our conversation if you ask.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics, and loads nothing from other companies. It’s hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, as described in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Deleting your data

You can delete any task, list, or item in the app. Deleting the app removes its data from that device. To remove the copy in iCloud as well, open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Storage (or Storage), choose Hemeric Day, and delete its data.

Children

Hemeric Day doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

Because I don’t collect or hold your personal data, there’s nothing of yours for me to access, correct, export, or delete. Your data is in your hands, on your devices and in your iCloud account. If you have a question about your privacy, email me and I’ll answer it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change ever means the app handles your data differently, this page will say so before that version of the app is released.
