Common questions
My tasks don’t show up on my other device
Hemeric Day syncs through your own iCloud. Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account, and that iCloud is turned on for Hemeric Day: open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, and look for Hemeric Day under the apps using iCloud.
Both devices need to be online. Opening the app on the device that’s behind helps it catch up.
What happens to tasks I don’t finish?
They move on to tomorrow on their own, so nothing piles up as overdue. Tasks you check off stay on Today, grayed, with the time you did them, and are kept in Done under that day.
How do I add a task with a day, time, or repeat?
Type it the way you’d say it. For example: “gym tomorrow morning”, “dentist next Tuesday at 2pm”, or “pay rent every month on the 1st”. Type /work to file a task in an area or project, #calls to tag it, or “milk to my shopping list” to add a shopping item.
How do I change the order of tasks?
On Today, hold a task and drag it. You can drop it in a different place in the list or into another part of the day.
Reminders when I arrive at a store don’t come
Arrival reminders need three things: a place saved on the list or task, Notifications allowed for Hemeric Day, and Location set to While Using the App. You can check both in the Settings app under Hemeric Day.
For shopping lists, only items you’ve marked as must-remember are included in the reminder.
Can I see my calendar events on Today?
Yes. In Hemeric Day, open Settings (the gear on the Home list) and turn on Calendar Events. Events are only shown, never changed.
How do I bring my tasks over from Apple Reminders?
In Hemeric Day, open Settings and choose Import from Reminders. Everything still to do comes over with its dates and repeats. Nothing in Reminders is changed, so you can keep using it or delete it later.
What can I ask Siri?
Try “Add a task in Hemeric Day” or “What’s left today in Hemeric Day”. You can also add a New Task button to Control Center or the Action Button, and add the widget to your Home Screen.
Is there a Mac version?
Not yet. Hemeric Day is for iPhone and iPad, running iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later.
How do I delete all my data?
Delete the app to remove its data from a device. To remove the copy in iCloud too, open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Storage, choose Hemeric Day, and delete its data. The privacy policy has more on what the app keeps.
